I founded Hollingsworth Law Firm in 2016. I earned my Juris Doctorate from Monterey College of Law concurrent with a Master's in Legal Studies. I am also a proud CSUMB alumni and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Communications with a focus in practical and professional ethics.
As a lifelong resident of Monterey County, my goal is to provide our community with honest, effective and efficient legal services. Throughout my life, I have lived in Carmel Valley, Salinas, Monterey, Seaside and Marina, and have come to appreciate each of the diverse areas of our county and the people who live there. I enjoy working closely with each client and tailor my services specifically to the individual. I believe this is the foundation of creating a positive, collaborative and long-lasting relationship.
Prior to opening my own practice, I worked for six years with my father, David Hollingsworth, a local litigation attorney with more than 50 years of experience serving the residents of Monterey County. Together, we litigated and won many complex civil and family law cases in Superior Courts, Courts of Appeal and Federal Courts across California.
Prior to opening my office, I also had the pleasure and good-fortune of working at Singh Law Firm, a boutique estate-planning law firm that has served the greater Bay Area since 2012. While there, I created estate plans for blue-collar families, tech employees and families with advanced estate-planning needs among others. I maintain my relationship with the Singh Law Firm as well as many other local Monterey County civil and trust attorneys to discuss current developments in law and how to best address our client's needs.
While in law school, I was honored to be president of the Student Bar Association, and was a Heisler Moot Court Finalist. I am a Certified Mediator and have a special certification in Divorce Mediation.
